Veteran's Day 10/25/2010
Under the flag of this great nation We surrender only to freedom – Freedom gifted unto us by those Who sacrifice their lives in valor – Under the flag of this great land We walk only to persevere – A gift so honorably bestowed to us By our heroic brethren in uniform – By the flag of the United States of America We live in honesty and truth – Endowments handed to us at birth By the hands that fought for it – Red, white and blue are not colors But symbols of liberty and justice – They are woven threads of courage, Loyalty, bravery and devotion – Red, white and blue are not colors They are blood, sweat and tears – Sacrifice, honor and vigilance Love, respect and independence – Under the flag of this great nation We stand as one force – In faith and under God We are Americans! 1 Comment |
